About Me

I am currently an Assistant Professor (Research) at the Department of Computing at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU), working closely with Prof. Qing Li. I received my Ph.D. degree in Computer Science and Engineering from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST) in 2023, advised by Prof. Lei Chen. Prior to that, I received my Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Technology from the ACM Honor Class at Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST) in 2018, advised by Prof. Hai Jin. • [MSc Dissertation or Project] PolyU MSc students seeking a dissertation or project supervisor are welcome. My previous students received 11 A+/A and 4 A-/B+ grades, and some also published papers.
• [PhD] Positions starting in September 2026 or later are open, co-supervised by me and our department head, Prof. Qing Li.
• [MPhil] Self-funded PhD and MPhil candidates are also welcome.
• [Intern] Self-motivated undergraduate and master’s students with strong coding skills from PolyU, mainland universities, and elsewhere are welcome. These students will receive priority consideration for future PhD opportunities.

P.S.: I will personally mentor all students, including interns, RAs, and PhD/MPhil candidates. I may also invite experienced PhD graduates to provide additional guidance as needed.
